This Ramadan, Ghulaman-e-Mustafa brought nourishment and joy to thousands of vulnerable families through our annual Ramadan Food Package Distribution—ensuring no one went hungry during the blessed month.
Nourishing the Ummah, One Package at a Time
In Pakistan, where 37% of the population lives below the poverty line (World Bank), our Ramadan initiative provided essential relief. Each specially curated food package contained:
✔ High-quality staples: Rice, flour, lentils, oil, and dates
✔ Nutritional supplements: Milk powder and vitamins
✔ Hygiene items: Soap and sanitary products
✔ Special treats: Vermicelli (sawaiyan) for Eid celebrations

5,217 families fed across 12 districts
31,302 individuals reached (averaging 6 people per family)
72% of recipients were widows, orphans, or disabled heads of households
A Mother’s Gratitude
“For the first time in three years, we had enough food for sehri and iftar,” shared Amina Bibi, a widow from Potohar region who supports five children. “My children cried when they saw the Eid vermicelli—they thought we wouldn’t have any this year.”
Sadaqah Jariyah Continues
While Ramadan has ended, food insecurity persists. Our Year-Round Nutrition Program continues this vital work:
- £30 feeds a family for one month
- £150 sponsors a food package for five families
- £500 funds a village distribution
